In this picture, the cylinders and heads have been installed on the left side of the engine.

At this point, we went back to working on the wings once some of our supplies arrived.  Rather than rib stitching, we are riveting the fabric to the ribs.  We used an anti-chafing tape under the rivets and then we will put a 2" tape over the top.

Here you can see the 1/2" anti-chafing tape under the rivets.

The 2" reinforcing tape is laying next to the rivets in the picture above.  Ray is also cutting reinforcement patches for around jury strut tabs.
