Escapade

Tightening the mount bolts

It is a bit of a tight fit getting the AeroVee mounted but the rubber bushings seat well when the bolts are tightened.

Engine Bolted On

The engine is bolted on and ready for wiring.  Since the Escapade was originally designed for a Rotax, the AeroVee will be a little too wide for the cowling and the valve covers will stick out the side like the old Piper Cubs.

Running the Plug Wires

The dual ignition on the AeroVee is different than regular aircraft engines like Continental or Lycoming.  One set of spark plug wires goes to the coils on the firewall and the other set connects to the magnetos.

Plug Wires

The spark plug wires, on the coils, connected to the engine.
