It finally happened and we found out...it really can fly!!!  Brian made the first flight on November 25, 2006.

Tail up and ready for takeoff on Runway 25 at RCA.

Although it was overcast and a little hazy that day, the wind was perfectly calm.  The airplane flew great and the landings were pretty good too!

On final over downtown Rio Creek.  You know what, it looks good on the ground.  But it is just so much better seeing it in the air.

Short final for Runway 25.  He is actually coming in straight, the camera is angled off to the side.

Overall, everything performed very well.  We had a slightly high EGT on one side but we think that will be solved by adjusting the carburetor.
